Have you ever been to one of your favorite restaurants like Bonefish, Carrabba's, Buca di Beppo or Maggiano's and had their delicious olive oil dip for bread? Did you know that you can make a similar copycat bread dipping oil recipe at home with just two ingredients?
This simple bread dipping oil definitely doesn't take hours of watching the Food Network to master! It easily elevates regular bread with the delicious taste of EVOO and Italian seasoning. Although this recipe is quite simple with just two ingredients, you can add your own customizations (see below for suggestions!) to elevate the flavor even further.
Because of its simplicity, this bread dipping oil is a kid-friendly alternative to butter on bread! My 10 year old loves it and usually requests her own plate of it.
Bread dipping oil is best served as a treat for a special occasion dinner like birthdays, anniversaries or holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas. It is perfect to serve as an appetizer with Italian or French bread before any seafood or Italian meal such as chicken parmesan, chicken penne alla vodka or tuscan chicken!
