I'm Lyndsey! I am the recipe creator, writer, photographer and videographer behind Momma Fit Lyndsey. Momma Fit Lyndsey is a healthy recipe blog I created to help share my love of simple & nutritious meals that are easy to make and kid friendly.
About Me and Momma Fit Lyndsey
I live in Pittsburgh, PA with my husband, two daughters and chocolate lab Minnie! I started blogging about ten years ago as a hobby! I was a new mom and personal blog to document my new mom life!
My passion for photography soon became my profession as I transitioned from full time finance professional to full time wedding photographer. As a wedding photographer my work was featured on the national wedding blog Style Me Pretty as well as Pittsburgh Magazine and other print media. It wasn't until 2017 when I started to focus on building my blog and Instagram following.
What started as a way to document my own food and fitness journey, transitioned fully into a food blog in 2020. The recipes on Momma Fit Lyndsey reflect my desire to create a food blog with healthy and easy recipes that can be made by anyone!
My blog is a reflection of our everyday cooking and struggles through picky eating. I focus on sharing seasonal recipes that are made with delicious ingredients that your family will actually want to eat!
Each recipe is designed to be simple and feed hungry families while also being healthy and nutritious. I like to use wholesome and nutritious ingredients when possible, yet I do incorporate the semi-homemade approach at times (my love of rotisserie chicken knows no end!)
Each new recipe I publish (and those I update!) have step-by-step instructions and photos as well as detailed ingredient listings. This is all designed to help you succeed in making my recipes on the first try!
