Expert Tips
- I recommend using shaved Brussels sprouts. You can purchase them pre-made or slice your own.
- If you use halved Brussel sprouts, turn up the heat to 375F after the 14 minutes are up and crisp for a few minutes.
- Storage: store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and re-crisp for 5 minutes at 350F for reheating.
- Add cooked pancetta or bacon in the last few minutes for a delicious full meal option.
- Drizzle balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze over air fried Brussel sprouts for a yummy flavor. Lemon and maple syrup are also delicious additions.
- Try these as a base for a salad or a delicious savory breakfast bowl with eggs.
FAQs
I would only prep the ingredients ahead of time (really only applicable if you are using whole ones) as the sprouts lose their crisp.
Trim the outer edges and cut off the bottoms. Slice larger ones into thirds or fourths (depending on size) and smaller ones in half.
You can also (carefully) use a mandoline or a food processor to create super shredded, shaved brussels sprouts.
