Slow Cooker Swedish Meatballs

Slow Cooker Swedish meatballs made at home in the crock pot are better than Ikea!  Whole30 and keto-friendly, these Swedish meatballs will be a family favorite!

Ingredients

Meatball Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon garlic minced

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup beef bone broth
  • 1 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoon all purpose flour swap for ¾ tablespoon coconut flour if Keto or Whole30
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • salt + pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Spray the bottom and sides of the crock pot with coconut oil spray.
  • Combine ground beef, almond flour, se salt and garlic in a large bowl. Using a small ice cream scooper, scoop out about 16 medium sized meatballs.
  • Place meatballs into the crock pot and make sauce.
  • Combine sauce ingredients into a glass measuring cup and whisk until well incorporated. Pour over the meatballs. Cover crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until meatballs are cooked through.
  • Once meatballs are cooked, prepare egg noodles or zoodles for serving.
