Pasta and Peas with Pancetta

Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Use a colander to drain the pasta and then set it aside.

Add diced onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add garlic during the last minute. Cook pancetta for 5 minutes.

Add in the peas and allow them to heat for three to four minutes.

Return cooked pasta to the pan along with two tablespoons of olive oil, ¼ cup of parmesan cheese, and up to one cup of pasta water. Season to taste.
