Homemade Halloween Candy getting me all Pinterest-y just in time for Halloween!  I am generally all about the convenience over anything.  But in this case, I couldn’t resist giving these babies a try.  Surprisingly, they were a lot easier than I expected and I had two little helpers that made them that much better!   If kids can do it, we can do it right??

I previewed these over on my Instagram last week and y’all went insane.  Never have I had a recipe be more well received.  Well, these chicken tacos are pretty darn popular, but let’s be honest, they’re no chocolate!! So its pretty apparent that you all love chocolate as much as I do.  And you could eat it all day long.  So we need a darn good replacement for the real thing, right??

Homemade Halloween Candy {Paleo, Vegan, Gluten-free} Twix

Healthy Twix, you do exist!!! Every darn day I want chocolate. So instead of downing the real thing  I’m determined to find something that’s healthier. I’m not saying you can down a whole pan of these but they’re definitely a little healthier than downing a bag of Twix!

These were a HIT in my family.  So much so that when I went to blog them, half of the pan was gone.  So, you’ve been officially warned.  They won’t last long!

There are a few swaps you can make here!  I was running out of some of the main ingredients (raw maple syrup) and swapped out for raw honey.  I didn’t have almond butter on hand and used peanut butter instead.  Although I could definitely taste both ingredients, they were so yummy and a great variation from the original ingredients!

I could absolutely find a few other recipes to make a little cleaner!  What is your favorite Halloween candy? Post your favorites in the comments and we’ll see what we can do!

These look so good! I love cooking Paleo! One of my favorites are plantain cupcakes with chocolate icing. It has dates, but you would never know it. People rave about them all the time! I shared your post and saved it for myself!

Always nice to make homemade candy for special friends and family. We don’t need any special candy around our home nice to have recipes around the house when needed.
