A few weeks ago I created an edible chickpea cookie dough recipe and it was SO good. I knew I was on to something with this whole chickpea cookie dough – TikTok can prove that!
So when somethings working, you make another variety of it right? Enter edible brownie batter.
Is it possible that this brownie batter is even better than the chickpea cookie dough? It may be – I’m going to need you to make both and let me know.
Ingredients You Need for this Recipe
Here are the ingredients you need to make this recipe:
- Oat flour: I recommend Arrowhead Mills Oat Flour.
- Cacao Powder: I recommend Navitas Cacao + Reishi but you can also use cocoa powder if you have it on hand.
- Salt
- Chickpeas: very well rinsed

How to Make This Recipe
These are the steps to make this recipe:
- Add all ingredients, except chocolate chips to a food processor. Process mixture on high for at least 60 seconds or until texture is smooth.
- Add brownie batter to a container and fold in chocolate chips.

- For ease, use canned chickpeas. Make sure to rinse the chickpeas very well under water prior to processing.
- Add in 1 tbsp oat milk or almond milk if mixture seems dry.
